My name’s Alexis and I have been grooming for over 5 years. I've grown up with lots of different hairy dogs, it inspired me to learn more about the dog grooming process. My favorite thing about Tooth and Nail Grooming is the calm atmosphere we’ve created and watching our furry friends unwind and relax.
In the future I’d like to sell some of my favorite tools I use everyday for grooming to help clients with at home maintenance.

If I was a dog, I’d definitely see myself as small terrier mix with messy natural hair, I may have small dog syndrome occasionally! I think my weakness as a groomer is my pace; whether I get lost in puppy eyes or distracted by dog kisses, I’m striving to become a better groomer everyday.

My strength as a groomer is undercoat removal! I love brushing, bathing, and blowing out unnecessary hair.

Hi my name is Katelyn, but my clients know me by Kate! I’ve been grooming a little under 4 years, and have worked on sanctuary farms while fostering pets for as long as I can remember. Opening up our salon down the street from Preuss pets couldn’t be more of a dream for me. I love our location surrounded by a community of smaller businesses and the welcoming environment we’ve all created to meet our more nervous pets and/or clients needs. In the future I’d love to partake in some coloring competition grooms, but for now I’m content with simply elevating fun functional grooms for home.

If I was a dog I’d go with a chubby golden retriever, too many snacks for my own good with endless high energy. I think one of my weaknesses would be a social anxiety that sometimes makes it hard to advocate to clients about their pets needs.

My strengths are to not only be patient and understand your pets behavior, but to rely on it while working with them during grooms. All our clients have unique needs and using that to my advantage makes all the difference compared to just trying to change them.

Hello there! my name is Dawn I’m a groomer, and mom to 7 kids, 2 grand kids, 2 cats, 1 grand dog, and a whole pack of chihuahuas. my love of animals has drawn me into working with them for over 28 years!

Having clients I love while constantly learning new grooming trades and techniques has made the time well spent and fun. The atmosphere being a calm one with an upbeat edge that we enjoy reflects our collective style. I look forward to further building clientele here within our neighboring community

of Old Town and getting involved in fun events. If I were to be a pup I’d be a Pomeranian Mix, a little fluffy but low maintenance.. with maybe a little hair color involved. One of my weaknesses are that I hate to shave matted ears and tails, so carefully de-matting tends to take up most of my time. The same clients that need extra care and patience have become some of my best grooms, it’s sometimes hard to even remember who started out more difficult once they start following and enjoying a routine with me.
